Doctor of Practical Ministry (DPM) Diploma
Purpose The purpose of the Doctor of Practical Ministry (DPM) Diploma is to help equip the student for a higher level of Christian ministry than the Masters in Practical Ministry (MPM). The DPM is designed to serve the need of ministers for an experience of continuing education which renews the personal life of faith, further develops professional competence and stimulates continued growth. It is intended to be a continuing education experience. Click here for a sample of the DPM Diploma.
Nature of the Program This program of studies leading to the DPM is 64 training units beyond the Masters (256 Training units total for DPM). It is especially designed for ones involved in Ephesians 4:11 and 12 leadership. It includes a 250,000+ word paper or manual on a topic selected by the student and approved by the ECC leadership. Upon approved completion of the writing project, 10 training units will be awarded. It is designed to be a project that will be an asset to the church in establishing Jesus’ kingdom.
Admissions Requirements The successful DPM applicant will already have a solid background in ministry and education. They will also have a desire to expand in a recognized ministry call. A complete transcript of previous work and experience should be submitted. A Student Evaluation Letter then will be sent to explain the course of study recommendations from ECC.
