Our Vision - The Saints Movement The ministry of the Eagle Christian College is to equip Jesus’ people for the present and coming moves of God. This includes leaders being restored. The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are being called, equipped and commissioned! They are in turn equipping the saints for their place of ministry. The Saints Movement is alive! Each and every Christian is finding their place on a ministry team. The army of God is arising. The kingdom of God is being established. Jesus’ authority is real. The Holy Spirit’s energy and power is being released. The Eagle and Lion Christians are alive. Who are Eagle and Lion Christians? In 1996 I felt the word of the Lord said “this is an Eagle generation of Christians. The Eagles are arising to dominate the spiritual atmosphere of their communities. They have their eyes on Jesus and will soar on the wind of the Holy Spirit.” I, John Watson, am known as The Eagle Man. Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International has seen the lion as an object lesson for today’s Christians. The lion is the dominating animal on the earth just as the eagle is the dominant bird of the air. Christians have the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus, living in them. They will possess their promised Land and they will help others possess their Land.
The Transformation Church It is harvest time; it is time to be “transforming our region(s) by forming teams of Eagle and Lion Christians to preach Jesus in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit to restore individuals, families, and communities.” God has much in His heart for you as part of Jesus’ church. This involves the process of restoring and revealing Jesus in you as an individual plus as a part of Jesus’ church. Is this your heart’s desire? We are privileged to be a affiliated with The Wagner Leadership Institute including active membership in the Apostolic Council for Education Accountability (ACEA). Dr. C. Peter Wagner who is Chancellor of The Wagner Leadership Institute and President of ACEA said “The major change in education models for today is that the incubator for new leaders is now the congregation rather than the educational institutions. Because apostolic leaders believe in the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, they do their best to allow - not only but almost require - all their church members to discover their spiritual gifts and be in some kind of ministry in the congregation… leaders become apparent… homegrown leaders.” - From Ministries Today interview July/August 2000.
